Knowing what to delegate to AI and what still requires human judgment. I feel like this is a learned soft skill. You definitely can, should and must push back on the advice and solutions that AI gives you.

That's where your own, not just knowledge and experience but intuition and judgment and understanding better than the AI ever could where your product or the thing you're working on is going: that's where that comes into play. Because unless you write every single permutation of what you want to do and where it could go and every piece of context that's sitting in your mind, it will make assumptions and fill in gaps.

It's not sensible to constantly put all the context in every prompt. Not just talking about copying and pasting context. Every time something occurs to you that you want to build, you shouldn't have to think through every edge case. You shouldn't have to explain to it every time exactly what you want, because often it will make the correct assumption.

It's quicker to tell it what you want, let it make its assumptions and correct it when it makes the wrong assumption. Or when it gives you a solution, if you have a better idea then change its mind or steer it towards something else. There's many ways to do that. I'm still learning a year later how to drive the AI but certainly I drive it much better than I did at the start.

Answer this one too.

You don't need to be an expert. You need something you tried at work with AI, what happened next and what you'd tell someone else.
