I knew that Midjourney had this video capability. I just started running experiments. Out of all the images you'd find a few that just kind of nailed the story. I picked those and then, with no other prompt, just did seven seconds of video. Because there was already a story in the original prompt for the image, it kind of worked. It takes the image and then it runs seven seconds of action.
I have to say, actually, most of it was not really usable. But there were some really good ones. Then I took those clips into Premiere Pro. I found a nice piece of inspirational music and I started putting it together.
What I realized while doing that: the Midjourney video clips can have this weird stuff in them. Sometimes seven seconds is not enough to really get good pieces of content that looked real and expressed the emotion I was looking for.
There were two kind of parts to the movie. The first bit was ADHD as a disability. The second part was ADHD people thriving. Then there was our pitch at the end, which was this hopeful thing.
For the first bit, where there were people kind of suffering, I slowed the clips down to 25 percent of real time. Now those seven seconds became 28 seconds. In those 28 seconds I was able to find just that moment where, in between a lot of sort of weird movements, there was that flash of emotion on the face. I just kept playing with it and running it. Eventually I got enough to put together the two and a half minute video.
