Not the shiniest tools
"The teams that are getting massive value out of gen AI today aren't the ones who bought the shiniest tools."
Ian: And what's one piece of advice you would give to anybody who is watching this at the moment?
Michael: Like you, the theme of this is that I have no technical background, as Ian also very happily pointed out. But I would just say get started. I know it's a bit cliché. But use Claude. Lean on Claude, as Ian so perfectly put it. Ask it questions. Ask it for guidance. Just get into the terminal or onto whatever coding platform you have and just start. Just ask Claude the dumb questions. It won't yell at you. It'll really guide you through the process. You'll be very impressed with the outcomes that you can build.

Only as good as the data
Tell it the story, not the image
"Don't describe the image. Say what's happening at that point. So tell the story, basically."
You don't need to be an expert. You need something you tried at work with AI, what happened next and what you'd tell someone else.
