I set out to do a pitch deck and to get sponsors for our efforts for ADHD Australia. In doing the deck we really want to focus on lived experience. That's sort of the big pivot that we as an organization did a couple of years ago.
We used to be a kind of a peak body, giving the sort of views from on high, the official views. We've pivoted to be representing the community and making sure that we put lived experience front and center in everything we do.
So I wanted to be making a liberal use of people images. We were using stock photos at first but then I started experimenting with Midjourney. And yeah, I was quite happy with the initial results.
But then I've also got this ChatGPT project about everything to do with ADHD Australia. I've been running that for about a year. So the little, what do you call it, little deployment knows a lot about ADHD Australia. I use it for strategy and that kind of thing. Then I just started talking to it about the deck. And then I thought, well, could you write the prompt for these images?
So I started doing that: getting ChatGPT to write the prompts for the images for the deck, based on what it knew about ADHD Australia. That started working really well. I would just run the prompt, take a screenshot, show it back to ChatGPT and adjust the prompt. And I managed mostly to stay within the Midjourney budget.
